Punakha Tshechu
The following pictures are taken during the Punakha Tshechu on 28th February 2015. It was unplanned , we were not dressed up for Tshechu, we just picked our regular dress and went for a quick afternoon visit to the Tshechu. The picture below is the entrance thru the bridge & picture above

A picture with the worrier

I borrowed a hat from the layazam's (A lady who lives on high altitude mountains) bamboo hat.

A lovely tourist lady i met and all we talked about was crochet.

Another Tourist , and i was asking if she crochet, no she doesn't crochet.

Some pictures around the dzong.

And than to treat ourselves to some tea and snacks at the farm house

with the beautiful view of Sopsokha village and Chimi Lhakhang, Punakha

Do you see a small white house very far up on the mountain, i will probably settle there to feast my self to very beautiful view , will post pictures of it later.

First Crochet Sweater

Kuzu zang po (greetings) beautyful people. I have been wanting to do this posting for ages but something always came up delaying this post. So finally i decided to do this post today My first crochet sweater. I did knit tons of sweater but never saw a crocheted sweater until I discover Yolanda's youtube tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsZfsrFx8xg I was amazed that the sweater can actually be crocheted. The picture above was my trial and i was so happy that i can crochet a sweater.

And then started my first sweater for my Bumo who loves wearing my work.

TADAH! i did it.

Back of the sweater

My daughter Bumo enjoys wearing it all the time.

I enjoyed crocheting my first sweater so much that i ended making three more for her counsins, http://bhutancrochet.blogspot.com/2014/07/9th-birthday.html .Bumo's sweat was done in HDC and the above was DC stitch.
